The next chapter of your life and mine has already been written. You and I dream about it all the time. It drifts by in bits and pieces in our daydreams and night-time dreams: the new car you’ll be driving, or the new boyfriend you want to ask out, or the job your kid will have when she grows up. Our opportunity is to take action more consistently towards our next dream and not just settle-in for a little while, or a long while, after achieving our last dream.

The next chapter of your life matters because it is who you really are. It’s who you are when you are hopeful and confident and taking action to make your dreams a reality. It is not about the who you are not; the you that sees barriers and limitations. We never dream about those things, we only dream about the great stuff we want to accomplish with the gifts we’ve been given.

Of course we know that making our dreams come true is possible because we are living them right now.  The relationship we are in now was once just a dream. The car we are driving and house we live in were once just dreams too. Even the job we have, good or bad as it is, was once a dream. At some point before we manifested what we now have, we were excited about achieving it, right? We dreamed about getting the new job, then we got it! Yay! When did we ever go for a job thinking it was going to be terrible? We don’t. We wouldn’t have accepted the job-offer if we thought it was going to be bad for us. Of course, there are always exceptions, but for the most part this is true. The bottom-line truth is we make our dreams come true all the time!

Here’s a thought for the day: Since you now know that you can, and do, manifest your dreams, wait for it…all the time, why not put your next dream in writing, outline the steps and actions that will get you there, and go for it! Just sayin’, ’cause, you know you can do it, right?

I just read a great book by Marcia Weider called Dream: Clarify and create what you want. It’s an easy read with step-by-step instructions on how to make your dreams a reality. You may want to check it out. Especially if you’re like me and you have BIG dreams about changing the world! Here’s a link to it.
